There’s a moment that happens sometimes during a showing where the conversation quietly shifts from the house itself… to trust.
Tonight I showed a property for a second time to a buyer who genuinely loves the home. She’s doing this on her own, and like many people navigating a major purchase alone, she admitted she was nervous about the process and afraid of being taken advantage of.
I understand that fear.
Buying a home isn’t just numbers and paperwork. It’s vulnerability. It’s asking questions you hope aren’t “dumb.” It’s wondering if you’re making the right decision. It’s hoping the people guiding you are truly looking out for you.
That’s where the right team matters.
A good lender and a good real estate agent don’t pressure people. They educate, explain, protect, and advocate. They help create clarity where there’s uncertainty and confidence where there’s fear.
Trust matters in this business. It should.
And honestly, I think people can feel the difference.
