Some weeks don’t ask for your permission.
They just arrive.
This was one of those weeks.
Not just for me—but for people I love. Personal battles. Addiction struggles. Unexpected repairs. Equipment breaking at the worst possible time. The kind of things that don’t space themselves out politely—they stack.
Matt had a hard week. I had my moments too. Stress has a way of showing up in places you don’t always expect.
But even in the middle of it all, there’s something steady underneath.
We have each other.
We have a place to come home to.
We have people who answer the phone, who show up, who stand beside us without needing explanations.
That’s not small. That’s everything.
There’s a kind of wealth that doesn’t show up in numbers or headlines. It shows up in resilience. In partnership. In knowing that no matter how heavy the week gets, you’re not carrying it alone.
This week tested us.
But it also reminded me what’s holding us up.
And for that—I’m grateful.
