Florida Real Estate: One State, Several Markets
Ask five people what is happening in Florida real estate, and you may receive five completely different answers.
One friend will tell you prices are crashing. Another will say homes are still unaffordable. A neighbor may insist nothing is selling, while someone else will tell you buyers are competing again.
The confusing part is that each person may be describing something they genuinely observed.
The mistake is assuming one transaction, one neighborhood or one property type represents the entire state.
The latest data tells a more nuanced—and much more useful—story. Florida is not experiencing one real estate market. It is experiencing several markets at once.
